About The Hotel

Dingle is certainly one of Ireland’s most beautiful spots, drawing holidaymakers from near and far to witness the kind of idyllic beautiful scenery that captured the worlds hearts in the classic film Ryan’s Daughter. Todays Dingle has become a culinary haven with lots of great restaurants and pubs, and the annual Dingle Food Festival, which is one of the best foodie excursions of the year.

Just outside Dingle Town, at the waters edge, on what is Europe’s most westerly peninsula, awaits the extraordinary Dingle Skellig Hotel, renowned for its great service, facilities and hospitality. From the moment you arrive at Dingle Skellig you are swept away to another world of relaxation, with beautiful modern amenities and yet still a sense of Olde Irish charm.

They offer a variety of different sorts of rooms from standard to superior rooms to junior, executive and Presidential suites. They also offer larger rooms for families with 3 children or more. Like all their rooms, standard rooms at the Dingle Skellig are elegant and chic and offer free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, telephone, hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities, whilst the superior rooms also offer DVD and CD players and a little more space. If you want to push the boat out a little further, then bag yourself a spacious junior suite with a queen size bed and large bathroom with separate bath and shower, or you could go the whole hog with their amazing Presidential suites, the Eask Suite and the Mount Eagle Suite featuring breathtaking views over Dingle Harbour and Bay, as well as balconies, private sitting rooms and magnificent antique furniture. Even President Trump would be happy.

When it comes to primping and pampering, the Peninsula Spa at the Dingle Skellig is up there with the best of them, offering some a truly stress busting array of relaxation and beauty treatments like hydrotherapy, hot stone therapy, holistic and sports massage, tanning & beauty as well as Yon-ka face & body treatments. When you’re finished being attended to, have a dip in the pool, or head for their Essence steam room, and then finish up your spa time by luxuriating in their awesome outdoor hot tub whilst taking in the splendorous views.

For food and drink at the Dingle Skellig there is plenty to choose from. If it’s a casual nibble or relaxing pint that’s on the agenda, then head for their Blasket Bar, which does great bar food from 12.30pm - 9pm daily. From 6pm, their Blasket Bistro serves a variety of classic and contemporary dishes in an environment that’s casual and welcoming, but, it's their Coastguard Restaurant that is truly fab. The room is fresh and bright, with great big windows wrapping around the room, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the great scenery that surrounds the hotel. Breakfast and Dinner are served in this lovely room, where their chefs take great pride in serving up delicious food prepared using the finest locally sourced produce available as well as the world famous fresh seafood landed on the quays of Dingle.

So next time your headed in search of food, fun and of course Fungie, don’t forget to book a room at the Dingle Skellig.
