Samphire Restaurant is in the most stunning location, right on the beach, and is the new restaurant of the Waterside House Hotel. Executive Head Chef Tom Walsh has created a whole new image and theme here delivering classical French cuisine with a Modern Irish Twist. The restaurant is called after one of Walsh’s favourite vegetables, the sea vegetable samphire, and he is not alone in loving it because it is a great favourite of Prince Charles’ who has it specially delivered from Norfolk to London. We don’t have to go to Norfolk for it because it grows right beside the beachside Samphire restaurant in Donabate.
