The nomadic Allta in Dublin’s Docklands is folding its tent for the fourth time at the end of December – will it be forever or will chef patron, Niall Davidson, spring yet another surprise location on us? He’s good at that. Given his past history, it could reappear on a boat in Dun Laoghaire Harbour or in a cowshed in Kerry, hanging off treetops in Co Wicklow or even in the middle of Dublin Zoo. Whatever he’s done, it has always been interesting and a progression of his culinary journey.
