Restaurant Review - J. Kavanagh's

“How was the food?” asked the barman, somewhat tentatively, on our visit to the new J. Kavanagh’s Public House in the picturesque town of Dalkey. As I said to him then, and as I always say: “Sometimes the service is more important than what’s on the plate.”
Living down the road in Monkstown, I’d been looking forward to visiting the ‘new’ pub, watching the Insta posts of it transitioning from the Dalkey Duck into, hopefully, a vibrant new addition to the town.
