Jianan ‘Janet’ Liu is a force to be reckoned with, a bundle of energy who has gone from selling her dumplings on a food stall to opening what is set to be one of Dublin’s hottest restaurants, Yibu by Janet. It’s a venture that also involves the people behind the highly successful Smokin Bones restaurants in Temple Bar, Castle Market, and Swords. They too started out with a food stall, and have also just opened a new restaurant, Barebone on Wexford Street. “The perfect people, the perfect location and the perfect food,” says Liu.
