About The Hotel
The Burlington Hotel is one of Dublin’s legendary Hotels, an iconic landmark in an upmarket location, hugely popular with Irish and American guests alike for decades. It is ideally located for a visit to Dublin, ten minutes walk from St. Stephen’s Green, convenient for the National Gallery and our premier shoppping area around Grafton Street. It is mere stone’s throw from the city centre of Dublin with plenty of public transport right outside. It was taken over a couple of years ago and has been newly renovated with great style and panache.
Comprising over 500 rooms, 300 Classic, 200 Executive, 4 Executive suites and 2 Presidential suites, they have every type of guest in mind. All rooms are non-smoking and offer free high speed internet access and ironing facilities. Executive rooms provide mini bars, air con, multi phone line, work desks, express checkout and access to gym, plus access to the spiffy executive lounge on the 6th Floor with complimentaryWIFI and continental breakfast.
You will have plenty of choice in terms of eateries here. The Sussex Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Diplomatic Restaurant does a buffet lunch and dinner, while the new hip Bellini Bar, which is attracting all the cool Dublin bods, serves barfood and tapas. The Lobby has coffee, soups and sandwiches, and the Resident’s Bar, which is open until 2 a.m. serves a range of Mediterranean style bar food in case you are peckish. Last time we were there, having downed a few Caipirinha’s in Bellini’s, we felt like food and had delicious Hungarian Goulash soup followed by Vienna Schnitzel and a cracking 14 oz T-Bone steak for Brendan.
The crew at the Burlington are happy to facilitate and help with your arrangements whilst staying in Dublin such as babysitting services, theatre bookings and so on. Room service is at your beck and call. The Burlington too is a great place to host your wedding larage or small in the heart of Dublin 4.
The Burlington Hotel is an official sponsor of Leinster Rugby, so you never know what beefy hunk you might run into in the corridors! Special packages are available for concerts and sporting events, and there’s even a shopping package if you’d like to shop ’til you drop.
