About The Hotel
Ideally located in the picturesque townland of Aghadoe in Killarney, Killeen House Hotel is classic Irish country living at its best. Abounding with stunning views and friendly faces, it’s a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the real world, a place where you can really breathe and rejuvenate your spirits.
Established in 1992, this fab little haven set on 1.5 acres of glorious manicured gardens, close to the stunning Lough Leane and its mountain backdrop of everchanging colours, is just a 10 minute drive from downtown Killarney with all of the pubs, restaurants and shopping that one could hope for, not to mention being a perfect base for avid golfers to visit any of the many famed golf-courses of Kerry. It’s also close to the famed Killarney National Park and Muckross House which have been drawing eager tourists to its beauties for as long as I can remember.
Originally built as a rectory in the mid 1800s, the property has been lovingly cared for over the years, bringing all of its old world charm and elegance into the modern day. Today, its 23 en-suite guestrooms are furnished to the highest standards, with all of the contemporary comforts that travellers expect these days. Besides from the plush comfy furnishings, each bedroom is equipped with a personal safe, tea/coffee making facilities, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, toiletries and more.
When it comes to food and drink, their superb Rozzers Restaurant is set to impress, offering excellent fresh seasonal menus that are bound to please even the pickiest of diners. The room, or more accurately, two rooms, are inviting and airy, with beautiful garden views to accompany your meal, and with friendly service and a warm welcoming vibe, the atmosphere here is wonderful.
