About The Hotel

Once you swing left out of Gorey on the road to Ballymoney, it is not long before you realize you are in a different world.  The windy roads abound with lush thick tropical greenery and it feels like you are in a very different place – away from it all – an escape from the real world.   That is what we all want when we are going away for a break  we want something different from our normal way of life and you will certainly get it at the Seafield Hotel in Ballymoney.    Ballymoney itself is a simple seaside village on the Courtown to Castletown road and makes a great getaway.  There are wonderful golf courses, pitch and putt, craft shops and pubs nearby and then there is that great beach.

The Seafield Hotel in the midst of this rural seaside bliss offers a pure haven of hospitality and comfort with 102 deluxe bedrooms and Executive suites with a choice of amazing views – their golf course, the legendary Tara Hill, or stunning sea views.  Set on 160 acres of lush parklands, with a fab award winning Oceo Spa which has 14 treatment rooms, a Hydrotherapy pool, Vitality outdoor pool, Hammamtable, Ice Grotto……     You will be really thrilled with the Spa, and your better half will be equally thrilled with the 18 hole Golf Course designed by Peter McEvoy.  In fact you can both play that round of golf and chill in the Spa’s Couple’s Suite.

The whole ethos of the 4 Star Seafield Hotel is ultra contemporary with every luxury and facility to cosset you in style.   It was designed by Italian Architect Franceso Beia, who maximized the natural elements of this great location.   Bright and airy ultra hip accommodation is in luxurious bedrooms, beautifully furnished and fitted out, with some having an open terrace.  Deluxe bedrooms are delightful with every comfort possible, whilst their individually decorated Executive Suites all have balconies, monsoon style walk in showers, double sinks and superb facilities throughout.

The bar could be in New York or Milan. You will be sipping your cocktails under Roberto Cavali lights with Mooi furniture,  marble counter tops and walnut floors.  You will then be dining in the spectacular Seafield Restaurant  where limestone and black Venetian plaster walls meet lofty ceilings and which has lovely views of the magnificent golf course and courtyard.   You can read more about the restaurant on the Great Places to Eat side of this website.
