About The Hotel

Set in the bustling centre of Limerick City, The Old Quarter Pub, Café & Townhouse is a fabulous spot offering great food, drink and entertainment as well as accommodation. Established back in 1995, it’s been a hub of activity ever since.

For those looking to explore the city, or indeed those looking to engage in some retail therapy, the location is ideal, with everything Limerick has to offer practically at your fingertips. And, once you’ve shopped till you’ve dropped and explored till you’re bored, there’s a wealth of nearby pubs, restaurants and cafes to indulge in, not to mention Limericks fabulous and famous Milk Market at weekends.

Offering modern well-appointed guestrooms which include complimentary WiFi, flat screen tv, tea & coffee facilities and more, their lodgings include options for singles, couples and groups, making it the ideal spot for all sorts of vacations whether it’s a romantic getaway or a big blowout with friends. Rooms at The Old Quarter can be booked as B&B or on a room-only basis. Because of the central location, you can expect there to be noise from the bars and clubs in the area, but if you’re looking for somewhere at the heart of the action, you should expect nothing less.

When it comes to food & drink at The Old Quarter, you won’t be left wanting. In the morning, they do a fantastic Full Irish along with the popular stalwart of Eggs Benedict. For Lunch, it’s everything from steak sambos and bbq pulled pork burgers to mussels & soda bread or chicken fajitas. In the evening, you can expect even more, with the likes of grilled seabass or a beef & black pudding burger appearing on the menu.

Do note that the restaurant closes at 8pm Mon-Sat and 6pm on Sundays, making way for the night-time vibes, and, on Friday and Saturday evenings, The Old Quarter offers great live music performed by regular local Irish bands that always put on a good show. For up to date info on their live music line ups, check out their social media.

The drinks menu here won’t disappoint either, with a fab selection of cocktails from mojitos, old fashioneds and cosmos to their own creations like a salted caramel espresso martini or a pornstar on the beach, plus a wide array of whiskeys and gins to choose from.

Whether your visit to limerick is romantic, plutonic, historic, gastronomic, or you’re just after some great craic, The Old Quarter Pub, Café & Townhouse is the perfect place to stay & eat.

And, if all that’s not enough, hop in a car and you’re just 60 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher!
