Merry Christmas to All

As we batten down the hatches on Christmas Eve, as you can see in the background my kitchen is still in chaos. At least the stuffing is made for each end of the bird!! The ham is boiled, the cranberry, apple and orange, relish is glistening in jars, and if I have forgotten anything at this stage, well that will have to be that! The most important thing for us all is to have our families around us at this time.
We all have our own little family traditions and even simple things are of great import. One of our Christmas Eve routines since my boys, Aidan and Ian, were about 10 and 8, has been to watch the Christmas themed Action Movie, 'Die Hard' with Bruce Willis and Alan Rickman - and I don't think I am going to escape the joys again this evening!! I wonder will here 'John McClane' win yet again!!
May I wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas wherever you are - and if the turkey is too dry tomorrow - so what the hell!! Enjoy!
