Hayfield Manor's Christmas Party

In these times of doom and gloom it was just fantastic to see how Joe, Margaret and Annemarie Scally of Cork's 5 Star Hayfield Manor Hotel just got on with it and hosted a fantastic Christmas Party on Sunday, December 6, for their friends, customers, guests and families.Hayfield Manor has that wonderful atmosphere that lends itself to nostalgia and fun - you almost expect to see Bing Crosby singing White Christmas outside the door. However, it was even better, and as we swung up to the front the top hatted ever professional Louis greeted guests, whilst General Manager Etienne Van Vrede's two beautiful husky dogs were immaculately groomed and so well behaved for the occasion. Victorian style carol singers were belting it out, the woofsies almost purred, and Cork's Lord Mayor graced the occasion. And that was before we got inside the door.
A fantastic trio were playing in the hallway whilst drinks, cocktails and canapes were served. The children were catered for magnificently upstairs with a magician, a bouncing castle, face painting, and of course that all important visit from Santa Claus.
Memories and loyalties are made on days like these.
