Padraig Hennessy, the genial owner of Clancy’s Bar & Restaurant on the sea front in Youghal, has come back from the U.S. to open a business in his home town at a time when many Irish people have been going in the opposite direction.
Clancy’s Bar & Restaurant on the sea front in Youghal will be providing a real genuine Thanksgiving menu which will feature traditional favourites such as shrimp cocktail, roast turkey and pumpkin or apple pie.
These shrimp though are the 2-mile shrimp landed just down the road from the pub, the succulent roast turkey will be locally sourced too and the apples in the pie will be grown nearby – all creating American classics with an Irish flavour.
