Today they continue to impress diners and holiday makers with the outstanding service and attention they continue to display to their customers. The hospitality provided by the Moynihan family and their staff is second to none ensuring that everyone who walks through the door recieves only the best of care, whether they are staying the night or just for dinner.
The Bosun Bar provides visitors with a quiet, relaxed place to enjoy a meal or a drink and It’s aptly styled maritime theme makes it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy ones self. The menu at The Bosun Bar always has something for everyone.
There is always great seafood chowder here, as well as a homemade chicken liver pate with Cumberland sauce and homemade brioche. Hot crab claws are served in garlic butter with fresh rosemary and bacon, whilst baked mussels are stuffed with garlic butter and breadcrumbs. Mains include roast rib of beef with brandy peppercorn sauce, whilst deep fried fillets of lemon sole in golden breadcrumbs is served with tartare sauce. Seafood of course is speciality at The Bosun and they are a member of the BIM Seafood Circle.
