Our Latest Great Place to Stay - The Talbot Hotel Belmullet

There is nothing I like better than hitting the road and getting out of Dublin at weekends, consequently I am always looking for somewhere new and different. Our latest discovery is The Talbot Hotel at Belmullet, Co. Mayo. Belmullet itself is a fantastic place to get away from it all and enjoy the Gaeltacht region of Erris. The scenery, beaches, mountains are just incredible, abounding with opportunities for surfing, walking, cycling, fishing and just communing with nature. However, much we like to commune with nature we do also like to have somewhere nice and comfortable to stay and this is where the Talbot Hotel comes in. The Talbot is a really chic smart Boutique Hotel, which would sit very well in a smart region of Paris or London, and brings a different element to the accommodation sector in the area.
