The classic How Can You Buy Killarney? is the old ‘come-all-ye’ song crooned by everyone from Bing Crosby and Connie Francis to Josef Locke and Ruby Murray. Undoubtedly causing oceans of tears over slobbery pints in Irish pubs, and family parties, it also brought millions of visitors to take a ride in a jaunting car while visiting the lakes of Killarney down the years. Many came also to trace their ancestors, a business that has grown exponentially with modern DNA tracing and TV shows like Who Do You Think You Are?
