The historic 15th-century Luttrellstown Castle has been co-owned by horsey honchos JP McManus and John Magnier since 2006. However, having dipped their well-shod toes further and further into the hospitality business, with the transformation of Adare Manor by McManus, and the recently opened Cashel Palace by Magnier, it’s no surprise that Luttrellstown has had its own multi-million euro makeover.
Serious dosh has been spent revamping the estate, including the conversion of eight former staff rooms into swish new bedrooms, making it more viable for events and weddings, not to mention celebrities and their entourages.
