Restaurant Review - The Montenotte Hotel

Once February arrives, I always get itchy feet, wanting to be back on the roads around the country, meeting people in the hospitality industry and seeing what’s going on. I duly hit the M8 for Cork where my destination was the fabulous Montenotte Hotel, set high over the city. Things certainly have been busy there during the lockdowns, but I’ll come back to that later.
On the way there, we stopped at the Horse & Jockey Hotel in Tipperary, which has an amazing in-house bakery where Jacqueline Lanigan Ryan dreams up divine cakes.
