DUMPLING LIBRARY
During the lockdown, I decided to try my hand at a dumpling meal kit, but I was lucky to have had my Chinese Canadian daughter-in-law Yukio to help because, let me tell you, making dumplings takes time, even when you have the dexterous experienced fingers of the professionals. The dumpling craze is alive and well in Belfast too — Eddie Fung, of the established and excellent House of Zen Chinese restaurant, has recently opened Dumpling Library in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter and it’s going down a treat. The menu focuses on exquisite small Asian dishes (Chinese, Korean and Japanese) prepared by executive chef Kit Chu.
