Restaurant Review - Dunraven Hotel

Here we are on the second Easter Sunday of this pandemic and, in all probability, we won’t be doing the traditional things we have done all our lives. We will, of course, be doing our best to mark the occasion and make it special for our children, family, and particularly older family members, who would have normally spent Easter watching their grandkids enjoy an Easter egg hunt before sitting down to the traditional roast lamb.

This year, we’ll have had Easter eggs delivered and maybe the Easter Sunday lunch box as well. We’ll talk over Zoom to those who aren’t around the table, but I’m guessing lunches won’t be the full leg of lamb smothered with rosemary and garlic to be carved ceremoniously at the table, but smaller joints — a shank, a shoulder, a half-leg, or maybe it’s a breakaway altogether from the formal meal to something more casual.
