Our Latest Great Place to Eat - Woods Restaurant

Roundwood is a pretty village, high in the hills of Co. Wicklow, much loved by Dubliners and walkers for a day out. We took a trip out recently to visit a new restaurant called Woods, just opened by Marino Monteresi who operates the very successful Bates restaurant, deeper into the Garden of Ireland at Aughrim. Monteresi recently won the 2010 Best Chef in County Wicklow Award in the Leinster Regional Finals of the upcoming Restaurant Association of Ireland/Life Magazine Restaurant Awards which take place next Wednesday.
